Spy

Career Exploration Visits are very interesting because we could visit great organizations. Spy website was very interesting because this organization does post production and visual effects. They also create commercial projects or film products. I really think Spy is a great company for people who really enjoy making videos or commercials.

I really enjoy working in video editing and recording because i could think outside the box and comunicate more with friends. I think thts interesting. Maybe in the future this skills i am learning could help me in a job i could get in the future. Multimedia skills are hard but i really enjoy learning new things in my academy because i know they are going to really help. Spy has a lot of interesting things i would like to learn more about. Like making commercials i think thts very good making good things so people could really enjoy. I had a great time knowing more about Spy!

The Legacy of Imperialism

The legacy of imperialism project was very hard because we had to work a lot. But after i got to learn more about my country Benin. I really loved my country i felt really happy when i was writing about Benin. Knowing a lot about their cultures and issues it really helped me with the project. This project was really hard but with my group help we did it. The presentation was hard for me because i was really nervous and at least i tried to not blank out because i was shy. After all we did great and i thank my group and teachers for supporting me. Thank you!
My country poster i worked really hard on this project and i learned a lot from Benin and how the people are suffering by not having fresh water. It made me feel very sad at first but then i know we could change this issue but Benin is a great country.

Beyond Pix

In my career visit I had a lot of fun because I got to learn a lot more of editing work and how they make their own music and I thought it was really cool how they make their commercials. Beyond Pix is a good company that make good projects, I really loved it.

When I first got there I thought it was going to be a huge building but it was really small and with a lot of offices and a studio. I observed a lot of things in that visit, they use the same programs that we use for our projects and all the workers get along very good and they have a lot of work to do everyday. I think I would like to work in a company like that but I guess I need to learn more about editing and doing music and other hard things. Team work is always important and also never give up in your job.

One thing that surprised me was that really like their job and other employers stay up working really late. The other thing that surprised me was when we got to see some pictures of famous people in the wall and that that they been in that company. The third reason was they had a movie room were they hang out and I thought it was really cool to have that in their company.

T he classes that prepare you for this career I think it’s a multimedia class and art because that’s what they use in their company. I wished I was able to see an artist and be able to talk to them but that didn’t happen. At least I had a great time with my classmates and the people from Beyond Pix. I’m proud of myself because I was able to learn about this company that make great things.

This semester was great because i learned a lot of things. Thanks to randy and im really proud to be in DSA . I hope next semester would be the same because we learn next things each day and i think is really great. Im really exited to learn new things in DSA. I want to thank randy for helping me!!

This project was really hard to finish but im happy i finished it because this work is really important to me because i talk about my family history. And what they had to pass to give me a great life i love my family.BUt i hope you guys like my hard work!
